Ralph Lysell. Ralph Lysell, hette egentligen Rolf Åke Nystedt, född 1907, död 1987. Han var en svensk formgivare och produktdesigner. 1939 anställdes han på Ericsson och arbetade bland annat med designen till Ericofonen och tog fram den första prototypen 1941.

Ralph's mother lived with a new man, a man that was not very found of his step-son, so shortly after arriving in the land of opportunities Rolf had to make it on his own. He moved to the United States at age 16. Abroad he took night classes at Columbia University in New York, and in 1936 he entered the auto industry with a self designed futuristic streamlined car that he wanted to mass produce. Stockholm native and industrial designer Ralph Lysell, a lesser-known automotive visionary, came to the United States between the wars with dreams of building his own car.
